For the month of April I went a little overboard in my shopping. I do admit to picking up a thing or two when they weren’t necessarily needed. Hashtag what’s new. All in all though, I am happy with my purchases for the month of April and foresee a lot of wear for the newly added piece to my wardrobe.

The printed dress (worn here) was a ‘I have nothing to wear’ buy that has been clutch in more than one occasion already, so I refuse to regret the impulse buy. The white tee with the pleated hem detail (worn here) is EVERYTHING! Unfortunately TJ Maxx only had an extra-large available but I’ve seem to make it work the last couple times I’ve worn it so no biggie. In that same shopping trip I also snagged the Steve Madden bucket bag (seen here) for a fairly decent price. The Choies pieces and Chicwish maxi were ordered towards the tail end of the month so they haven’t arrived yet. I’m sure you’ll be seeing them in the very near future;) The Kohl’s crop tops were last minute picks in preparation for Summer.
There were several items I received gratis this month from some pretty great online shops. If you follow FabAve via Instagram then you saw that I’ve recently become a brand ambassador for JoyBound Apparel. (You can read all the details of the honor here.) The quality of the tees are so good and I can’t wait to share more about living a #JoyBoundLife in the coming months. You can read my first post here. I’ve worn the Swell Caroline necklace to work several times and I get tons of compliments. You’ll also be seeing it on the blog real soon, so stay tuned.
I feel like I can’t declare any given piece MVP (most value purchase) since I haven’t received all the items but we’ll just forego the honor this time around and make sure to appoint it next month. However the pleated hem tee does deserve honorable mention for being super cute and cheap! Until next month.
