For the last month or so our weekends have consisted of house hunting. At first the trips were exciting because we were getting a brief glimpse into our possible future, but the experience quickly became a chore. We’ve seen a ton of places, some good and some not so good. In seeing so many possibilities we’re pretty sure of what we’re looking for. But there’s so much pressure! This will be our first home as a married couple here in VA, our home state. Essentially we’ll be hosting many birthday and holiday dinners in this home, so I feel like it’s got to be perfect. But what is perfect? I’m quickly realizing that the perfect home will be where Remy is happy and safe, where the fella and I will have our own little oasis and where we’ll grow as a family. So we’ll continue on in this journey because in the end it’ll all be worth it.
P.S. What was with the cold snap this last weekend?
