It’s safe to say that I’m no longer intimidated by midi skirts. I’ve always loved how they looked on others but was hesitant to fully embrace the trend myself. With midi skirt, many try the trend but fail either because they’ve messed up the proportions or because they’ve chosen one that doesn’t hit them in the right spot. I’ve found my sweet spot to be where the hem of the skirt hits me just above or just below the knee. It creates the proper illusion of a midi without overwhelming my frame. In other words, I look tall rather than frumpy, which is essentially my ultimate life goal.
