I have a love/hate relationship with turtlenecks. In theory they are a quintessential seasonal wardrobe staple. They are practical, they are reliable and they never fail you. Somehow the gals on Pinterest make wearing a turtleneck look effortless, cause really it is, but I always feel like a major goober when I wear them. Which is why this year I am determine to give them a fair shot.

In other news, I’ve gotta share that this entire outfit is comprised of pieces under $30! The jeans are an old favorite from earlier this year (first worn here), the vest (similar) was a major sales score from the Fall (last worn here), the necklace was a random acquisition from my latest Wal-Mart  visit (yeah, Wal-Mart!!!), and the lipstick has become a favorite at under $2.50! I’m tellin’ ya, there is no need to break the bank to feel and look fabulous!
