Staying Warm 101

photo IMG_8320_zps1ba832c3.jpg

In an attempt to prolong my need to don on a coat I typically pile on the layers. I tend to pair fabrics that will keep my warm without having to wear heavy duty outerwear, like quilted patterns in sweatshirt material like I wore on this particularly chilly Sunday. I then added mandatory tights (yep, already) and the warmest booties I own, which are lined with faux shearling. So freakin’ warm!

Speaking of footwear I’m pretty much covered for the season, what with my Sam&Libby ones (here), my OTK ones (here), my cognac ones (here), my fringe ones (hereand now these lined ones! I wish I could also access the boots that are stored away but I’ll have to wait til we move. I would like a legit pair of snow boots, like these, but I think I have a little more time before the first snow of the season hits. Well, here’s hoping.
