Reunion

This is what I wore for my high school reunion this past weekend. When I was trying to figure out what I’d be wearing, my ultimate goal was to feel fantastic while still wearing something very reminiscent to my typical style. I went through my limited wardrobe and scoped out the situation. Peplum was an obvious choice as its a silhouette that has never failed me. First half, check! The bottom half of the ensemble was a little harder to figure out. I was originally going to pair this peplum with the faux leather skirt from Savers (last seen here) but loved the fun hem and quilted pattern of this little number. After a quick look in the mirror I was certain that this pairing was exactly what I was going for. A little edge, a lot of sass and some definite attitude (without over doing it, of course).

It was such a surreal experience to see the familiar faces of my youth, with a little more age and wisdom behind their eyes, was strange. We are all adults now. It was so great to chat and catch up with people, I had such an amazing time. Excited for the 20th!
