5 DMV Bloggers to Follow

Since I’ll be moving back East at the end of the summer, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite DMV bloggers. For those that are unfamiliar with the acronym DMV it stands for DC, Maryland and Virginia – basically the metropolitan area around our nation’s capital.

It’s going to be weird to transition from being a Southwestern blogger to an East coast one. First of all, I’ll have to deal with all four season. That alone is going to make sharing outfit posts interesting during the winter but that’s a challenge I’m willing to experiment with. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this blog will evolve once we’ve made the move. Anyway, here are some of my favorite blogs based out of the Southeast!

Poor Little It Girl

I am a big fan of Cathy’s style! She is always chic and polished with a bit of whimsy. I also admire that she is a blogger that focuses on sharing pieces under $100, which this recessionista can relate to!

Tanvii is like no other blogger out there right now. She speaks her mind in her thought provoking posts and has such an eclectic sense of style. Tanvii shares her style, her fitness journey, some recipes, her mind and much more on her site and I would highly suggest you start following along! I plan on asking her on a blogger date when we’re settled;)

Lacey Perspective

Miss Lacey is the epitome of a DC blogger with a southern twist. If you are looking for high fashion, Lacey is your girl. It also doesn’t hurt that her hubby works at the White House so she is always sharing behind the scenes pics!

Wardrobe Oxygen

Allison is the queen of providing chic options for a capsule wardrobe. I also love that she brings a different perspective (and shape) to style blogging. She’s smart, witty and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

My Beat Boutique

I actually got to meet up with Myrna last year for lunch and homegirl is a sweetheart! She is constantly sharing her Baltimore adventures! From food, to epic sites during her bike rides and even concerts, you can always expect a little bit of everything from Myrna.

I would love to hear some of your favorite Southeastern bloggers! Whether they blog about fashion/style, life, food, travel or more, please share! Who are some of your faves?
