Remy’s 1st Birthday Party Invitations + Giveaway

When I was thinking up small ways that I could make Remy’s first birthday special, invitations weren’t quite on my list. I was simply going to send out e-vites and call it a day, but the birthday party in general was going to be pretty low key so I figured I could jazz up something as simple as invites to make it a tad more extraordinary!

Naturally I went straight to Minted.com for both their wide array of beautiful invitations and because we’d work with them in the past (for our Christmas cards pictured above). I was beyond happy with their service and extensive selection in the past so I knew Minted wouldn’t disappoint. I also must add that Minted addresses your recipient’s addresses for you free of charge, which is a definite plus for me. Less manual labor, people!

In the end I went with the What Fun birthday party initiation because it was playful yet still simple. I went ahead and upgraded the back of the invitations with two photos of homegirl and also added matching customized thank you cards! All in all, I was extremely pleased with the final product of both the party invitations and the thank you notes. Some of my alternate options included the Party at My Crib invites and the Playful Chalk invites. How cute are they?!
