Today I’m letting you in on a little secret and sharing a behind the scenes look into my recently updated skincare regime! You will 1) get my thoughts on some new-to-me skincare products; and 2) get a chance to win the products for yourself! Yay!
A couple months ago I was contacted by a marketing company representing Obiqo, a New Zealand based skincare company trying to introduce their beauty products to the US. I was a little hesitant at first but decided that a little research behind the company and the products wouldn’t be a bad idea. After reading countless reviews about how transformative the products were, which are enhanced with nutrient rich sea kelp from the NZ waters, I became curious and decided to give the okay to send a couple products my way for review. It has been two weeks since I’ve started using the products, specifically the Obiqo Gentle Face Scrub and the Intensive Facial Serum, and my skin has been altered in the best way possible!
As I mentioned, my skin has completely transformed in just two weeks. One of the main ingredients is sea kelp, which is rich in minerals, vitamins and amino acids. Its properties rejuvenate and restore skin (think fountain of youth) and leave it looking fresh and supple. With anti-ageing properties (something an almost 30 year old can appreciates) that nourish and fortify skin, Obiqo products fill all of my requirements for a simple and basic skincare regime.
I was provided two products: the Obiqo Gentle Face Scrub and the Intensive Facial Serum. I really don’t know what I can say to express my love for these products, except say that my skin is the proof that it is transformative! I absolutely love the Gentle Face Scrub, which is less invasive than my typical Apricot scrub. While I use the Apricot scrub once a week, the Obiqo Gentle Face Scrub is something I can use daily. It polishes away any dead skin I have built up and helps illuminate the skin underneath. The Intensive Facial Serum is perfect for people that don’t like a matte look to their skin. I’m a sucker for a little dimension and ‘glow’ and this product does just that! It hydrates and leaves skin looking flawless and supple. Winning! For both products a little goes a long way. I haven’t changed my typical skincare routine, so I can only attribute these changes to the introduction of the Obiqo products.
