Utilitarian

There’s something to be said about the perfect autumn day and on this particular day I could easily attest to it being as close to perfection as any other Fall day. Every season I have a bucket list of activities I like to complete in order to feel fulfilled for that specific season. Like many floating round the web, my bucket list for Fall consists of a handful of festive activities to get me in the spirit, and this is especially needed in a state that doesn’t experience a chilly fall day until late October/early November. A new family tradition I established on our list of traditions – the first weekend of October will be dedicated to hitting up a pumpkin patch and spending quality time with the family! So that’s just what Kevin, Remy, and I did a couple weeks ago, we visited Shnepf Farms and had a picture perfect morning complete with pumpkin picking, pig races, a dog show, and yummy goodies such as cobbler in a jar! Unfortunately we didn’t get to go through the corn maze or on a hay ride but we’re already planning our next weekend on the farm to check some items off the bucket list!

I wanted to wear something that was utilitarian in nature, because let’s face it Arizona tends to heat up past 12pm, so I opted for a practical yet fashionable ensemble. The fact that I was able to remove my cargo jacket and still feel put together without being that girl with the leggings as pants was a victory all on its own.

What’s on your fall bucket list?
