Before getting pregnant I would purchase an item and wait for the perfect time to wear it. A fun event, a romantic date night, an important work day – all opportunities for maximum exposure with the understanding that it would all be documented on the blog. Sometimes items would hang in my closet for weeks with tags waiting for the day they will finally be worn; longing and yearning for attention. What. A. Waste!
This type of thinking has recently bit me in the ass (pardon my French) because now I have a handful of pieces that were purchased pre-Remy but not worn. Now post-Remy those pieces don’t quite fit my new body. Hashtag: I’m an idiot! So when I purchased this Old Navy dress last weekend I wore it the next day. Why? Because my ‘getting out of the house’, ‘today I showered’ days are few and far between, so I have to take full advantage of my wardrobe.
Is this ‘maximum exposure’ type of thinking merely a blogger thing?
