There’s something about downtown Gilbert, Arizona that is just lovely. It may be the welcoming little shops, the amazing restaurants, the many bike trails, or the friendly people, but downtown Gilbert evokes small town charm. While I might not be a native to the Grand Canyon State I’m happy to call Gilbert my current home. It’s like one of those towns you see on 50s sitcoms – quaint, magical, and right out of a post card! When the fella suggested venturing off to DT Gilbert for dinner and an evening stroll I knew what dress I wanted to wear. This London Times number is just perfect for Arizona’s dog days of summer – lightweight and sleeveless, yet it still packs a punch with the print! My favorite part – that its baby bump friendly and I’ll still be able to wear it way past the pregnancy. Brownie points!

With the temps well into the triple digits during the long summer months, us Phoenicians are huge advocates of fro-yo all the time, everyday. However, I’m partial to the sea salt caramel milkshake from Frost Gelato Shopp here in Gilbert. Best treat to beat the heat!

To expereience the BEST breakfast you’ve ever had, Liberty Market is the place to go! There you can get the most amazing pancakes you’ll ever taste, potatoe salad with the most diverse spices, and a chorizo omlete that will keep you coming back for more! Yes, all in one place:)

Looking for a wine bar with a great atmosphere? Postino East is where it’s at! And don’t even get me started on their selection of brushetta?!? Life changing my friends, life changing!
