I’ve noticed that any day now my innie will become an outtie. But I’ve been reassured by countless online articles that it will go back to normal after pregnancy.

Next scheduled doctor’s appointment is next Monday. I can’t wait to see how much she’s grown since my last visit. However I can wait to see how much I’ve grown since then. Womp, womp.

Apparently from here on out I should be gaining ½ pounds each week. Oh joy.

Baby Girl Mason is a kicker! She especially enjoys jumping up and down on my bladder on inopportune times, like conference calls or during a really good scene of the Walking Dead.

Currently craving steak and cheese subs/sandwiches. Seriously. Must. Have. One. Now.

I’ve been having morning sickness these last couple of weeks. Not fun, especially because I thought I was lucky enough to forgo that symptom of pregnancy. Running to the bathroom trying not to upchuck my breakfast is a new sport. Just ask my co-workers.

Current aversions: peanut butter, egg yolk, and toast.

Still not sleeping through the night, even with the ear plugs. I guess I should start getting used to it, right?

The back pain that would arrive after an 8 hour workday now makes an appearance as early as an hour in the day. Heart burn is more constant, although the Flaming Hot Cheetos are probably not helping. Did I mention morning sickness?

I’m finally starting to look pregnancy, which makes it easier to shop and get dressed. I’ve mastered the illusion of not looking pregnant from the front (stripes) and have invested in a couple pairs of maternity jeans thanks to H&M and Old Navy. But more on that later.

Naturally my hormones are starting to show their ugly heads. I get agitated very quickly, which only annoys me more. Knocked Up scene, anyone?
