Happy Valentine’s day, my loves! I hope you enjoy this day with someone you love, whether it’s the love of your life, a best friends, or just spending the day loving yourself! Today I thought I would take the opportunity to write a little love letter to the person I care about the most, my husband:)

Dear Kevin,

I know I don’t make it easy to love me – I’m stubborn, have trouble expressing my feelings, and (as you’ve put it before) I’m weird. You make it possible for me to feel completely and utterly comfortable in your company. I feel the most myself in your presence, and while you might raise an eyebrow at my crazy antics, you don’t judge me and find my quirkiness endearing. For the past 5 years, you’ve loved me unconditionally without being told and I thank you for that. You accept me, regardless of my faults. Thank you for being patient with me. While I may not offer you the same courtesy, you manage to be tolerant with my stubbornness.

I absolutely adore the three freckles on your right cheek, or as I like to call them, your lion freckles. I love that you have a kind heart, a slow temper, and a goofy smile. I’m thankful that we have grown together not just in our relationship but in our friendship. While I will always complain about your snoring, or inability to close a kitchen cabinet, and your horrible habit to leave candy wrappers around the the house, I woudn’t have it any other way.

You will be such a great father to our little munchkin. You are loving, you are incredibly smart, and I can’t wait to witness all your amazingness once our son or daughter arrives. I love you.
