Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a good week! I however can’t wait for it to be over but enough negativity. As promised I have a slew of questions that were submitted by many of you lovely readers that I have answers to. I have split the answering portion of this project to three posts, this being the first. Feel free to submit more if something sparks a question either by posting in the comments section, via Twitter or through email (fabulouslyaverage@gmail.com). So here goes!

Where are you from?

I wasn’t sure what the reader meant by this. Where as in state, nationality, race? So I’ll answer each! I currently reside in Arizona but I’m originally from the East Coast, Northern Virginia to be exact. I was born in Brooklyn, NY but didn’t spend much of my life there. VA is definitely where I call home, living there for 21 years of my life. As for nationality, my mother is Dominican and my father was Italian. I myself consider myself to just be Hispanic, as I did not know my father and was raised by loud, opinionated Dominican’s.

How old are you?

26 about to turn 27 in May. BTW- you’ll totally want to be around during my birthday (hint hint).

What do you do?

Currently I’m in IT sales. I’ve been doing this since I graduated college as an ‘in the meantime’ job. But this is not what I’d like to do with my life. I graduated with a degree in Communication from George Mason University (Go Patriots!) with a concentration in Public Relations. I would love to work for a PR, Advertizing or Marketing Firm. Since starting FabAve I’ve learned a lot about social media marketing and would maybe like to go in that direction.

So if you know of any open positions in AZ please let me know!

What size are you?

I considered ignoring this question, lol but decided against it. I’m usually a small or medium in tops, 8/9-10/11 in jeans and pants and a 6 or 8 in dresses. When it comes to bottoms and dress it really all depends on the brand.

How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been the voice of Fabulously Average for almost a year, this being my first and currently only blogging endeavor. What started out as a more Tumblr based blog (posting my musings and occasionally posting outfit pictures) turned into something bigger and better. Blogging has grown out of the hobby phase for me. I have a great passion for writing and FabAve has given me a platform to be able to express myself. I hope to continue on as long as possible and would definitely be open to contributing to other blogs and/or publications.

What camera do you use? Do you take your own photos?

I started off with a regular Nokia point and shoot camera but have since upgraded to a Canon Rebel T3i with the standard lens. I really want to upgrade my lens to a 50mm F1.8 lens but need to be responsible and save for it before I make the plunge. Initially my husband was the photographer behind FabAve but since my work schedule changed back in August I had to invest in a tripod, currently relying on the timer of my DSLR, lol.
