It’s been far too long since I’ve posted a recipe, so please read along for the first of the year. In my household, our typical side dishes consist of rice, potatoes ora pasta salad of some sort. We being the grownup children that we are, the hubby and I aren’t really big into veggies, so when I do venture into that territory I have to make sure to spice things up. This brings me to one of our new go-to side dishes: Spicy Roasted Cauliflower. This easy recipe is both mouth watering and easy, the dynamic combo if you will. So take notes, prepare and enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp season salt
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp chili powder
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all spices together in a small bowl.
Cut cauliflower into florets and drizzle with olive oil, mixing so florets are completed coated. Sprinkle with spice mixture and toss together.Spread out on a sheet tray.
Roast cauliflower for 25-30 minutes, tossing at least once during the roasting process.
Plate and enjoy!
