[Event] Fashion For A New Life Charity Fashion Show

So y’all remember this post? Well this past Thursday the charity fashion show for the New Life Center went on and might I add without a hitch! There was delicious food sponsored by Tropical Smoothie Café, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa not only provided their services for hair and makeup but they also sponsored the VIP Bags AND through ticket and raffle sales the fundraiser was able to raise more than $6000 for the NLC! How inspiring is that!? Kristianne did such a great job organizing the event – from findin ga venue, acquiring amazing sponsors and raffle prizes, to rallying up fantastic, talented designers. She put together a successful event, great job Kristianne!

Guys, I think I found my calling. I was able to live out a lifelong dream of mine by walking the catwalk and I instantly knew that it was something I wanted to do over and over again! It was such a blast, having the adrenaline rush through my veins as I stomped it out to the death (jk). But seriously, I think modeling is something I would love to do as a side job, at least locally. It’s funny cause performances of any kind, public speaking and the ‘all eyes on me’ situations are usually things I try to avoid…says the girl that obnoxiously takes photos of herself and posts them on the Internet for all the world to see. But this is different, right?

Check out some of the backstage pictures I was able to take in between hair, makeup and fittings. Sorry for the low quality, didn’t bring along the DSLR, just the trusty old IPod Touch. I got plenty of shots from the A C I D Denim line (which I walked for) but couldn’t get many of the other featured designers: Bri Bridge, HourGlass Apparel and Black Russian Label. Enjoy!
