I have quite the exciting news to tell you. A couple of days ago I got contacted by a local blogger buddy of mine Kristianne of Fashion Route. She’s helping coordinate a benefit for the New Life Center in Goodyear, Arizona later this month and has asked me to walk in their fashion show. I couldn’t be more thrilled to accept and not only strut the runway but also be a part of such a great cause!

For those of you wondering what the New Life Center is- it’s an domestic violence shelter, the 2nd largest shelter in the country in fact. Unfortunately due to government budget cuts the New Life Center has lost much of the funds they use to help those in need. Kristianne has teamed up with her friend Jewel to throw a charity fashion show to assist NLC raise money to cover their loses and continue to assist victims of domestic violence. Pretty cool, right?

So here is where I need your help, specifically the local desert dwellers here in AZ. Kristianne and I would love for you not only to try and attend but also help spread the word.
