According to Wikipedia, (where you can find the most reliable source of information) hodge-podge is a word to describe a confused or disorderly mass or collection of things. I don’t know about you but I think that definition describes this outfit to the tee. What is this outfit if not a collection of disorderly things, or in my case clothes.

I woke up yesterday with a funny feeling in my bones. I don’t know if it’s the excitement of the long holiday weekend, or the fact that the in-laws arrive on Friday, or maybe the anxiety of the new year but I’m not feeling quite like myself. All I’ve wanted to do for the last couple of days is crawl into bed and get away from the world. But I’m pretty sure I feel like this every Christmas season. It’s not my favorite holiday; I always feel sad this time of the year. Not sure why but this feeling creeps in every year around the same time. And this ensemble, it’s the culmination of that feeling: nothing makes sense.
