For those of you who follow me on the Twitter, you are well aware that on Tuesday during my lunch break I went to the local thrift store by my office. Now, I’ve never been to that location before because I know the damage that can be caused in an hour, so it’s been great exercise for my will power. That is until this past Tuesday of course.

Ladies I hit the jackpot! I kid you not, I made out like a bandit. From a BCBG blazer to a three quarter sleeve LOFT jacket, I got me some good merchandise. And don’t even get me started on the colorful pencil skirts I walked away with. Seriously, how do people let go of this stuff. Anyways, stay tuned for a look at my loot within the next couple of days/weeks.

Although my recent trip to the thrift store was a success, I did leave longing for a brown suede mini that I tried on. It fit me like glove. I stood there looking at myself in the mirror, imagining the different remixing possibilities; it was glorious. But I bet you’re wondering why I didn’t get the little beauty. Well, it was a tad too short for the office and justifying the purchase for a weekend wardrobe item wasn’t cutting it. So I did the responsible thing and put it back.

The thrift store is having a Veterans Day sale on Friday- 50% off everything. Should I go back for another look or save my pennies for a planned trip? It will be payday and I might have to go after that suede mini after all…
