Tomboy

When: August 31, 2011

I was quite the tomboy growing up. I loved to climb trees, play kickball, and ride my bike in the woods to find adventures. Don’t get me wrong, I also had quite the collection of Barbie dolls but there was something about coming home filthy and dirty that gave me a rush. And boy did it piss off my mom.

These pleated pants are from Old Navy. I saw them on sale, so naturally I had to have them. I think they are really comfortable and I like how they have a menswear edge to them. Unfortunately, I don’t think pleats are made for woman with boot-ay’s. Oh well, they’re plenty work appropriate for days I want to change it up from my usual dresses and skirts.

Well I hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor day weekend! I will be going up north for some camping with friends, so I’ll be MIA. But don’t worry, I’ll have some camp-friendly outfit posts for you next week (if I remember). Cheers!
