Worn July 18, 2011 to work
Today was a difficult one. You want to know why? Because it was the first day that I had full access to my closet/dresser without including 30 for 30 items. At first I was bewildered and confused. I didn’t know what to do with myself. But then I took in all the patterns and textures and I became giddy. Yes, like a school girl. It was quite glorious.
I felt a lot of pressure today to impress with my outfit. I panicked and rummaged through my 30 for 30 items and realized that that would be silly. And that’s when the excitement started to settle. I get to wear whatever I want, however I want, whenever I want. I got a boost of adrenaline as I removed this lacey number from its hanger. Its new, well not new. I got it this past weekend from the thrift store down the street. Everyone, meet Lacey, my new best friend.

My awesome co-worker Melissa noticed that I wasn’t wearing a 30 for 30 item, which is sad on my end. Was it really that obvious that I kept re-wearing my clothes. Us ladies notice these things, so maybe I didn’t do as good of a job remixing as I thought. Oh, well there’s always the Fall (that is my official announcement of Fall Remix participation…hear that Kendi?).
Ok, that’s enough of my jabbering on. Have a fabulous week!
